About me

I am an Associate Professor (from July 2019) at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo (Canada). I am also the Director of the Laurier Centre for Economic Research and Policy Analysis (from July 2019). I have extensive work experience in academia, the public and the private sector.

All my research is in applied macroeconomics. I work in behavioural macro where my co-author Viet Nguyen (The University of Melbourne) and I are using household surveys to model the behaviour of heterogeneous consumers. I am also interested in monetary policy with particular focus on the effects of monetary policy shocks on asset prices.

My teaching experience is in intermediate and advanced macroeconomics, international finance, financial econometrics and applied economic research.
